    Hello Dr. Cath, Greetings!

    I read on your website that “Spirulina has 300% more calcium than whole milk”
    Can you kindly explain this? Is it tested with equal amount(in weight) of milk and Spirulina?
    Say, 10 grams of milk and 10 grams of Spirulina are tested for this?

    Thank you for your question. It’s an important one as too often people don’t really understand how foods are compared and this is how one can make mistakes.

    When you compare two foods for nutrient content, it is better to keep the same units. So,yes, you are correct. The results given on our website compare 10 gr of spirulina with 10 gr of milk.
