Raw Mango Spirulina smoothie

For the moment we find a lot of mangos on our island. I thought it’d be perfect to change my usual morning spirulina smoothie. I love to drink this smoothie strait out of bed. It helps me to stay focus during the entire day.
- 1 banana
- 1 cup organic soy milk
- 1 cup organic mango juice
- 1 hand full of organic baby spinach
- 2 tsp Spirulina
- (optional : 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder)

Did you know that mangos are actually SUPER healthy fruits?
They are packed with anti-oxidant and recent research showed that mangos have cancer protection proprieties (more specifically colon, prostate and breast cancer). Mangos (especially the one we can find here) have very high levels of fiber, Vit C. and pectin (like the apples). This combination can help to reduce your cholesterol level.
There is also a lot of Vit A. (good for the eyes) and Vit E. (good for the skin).
So the mango spirulina smoothie is super charged of vitamins, protein and anti-oxidant!
