Raw Recipe for Spiru-camole, Spirulina and guacamole

I live on a tropical island and during one of our hikes in the forest we found a old abandoned avocado farm. All the trees were still bearing fruits! Fully mature and huge avocados! We were so excited, running from tree to tree to find the biggest juiciest fruit. We packed our backpack with the green goodies and head back home thinking about all the fantastic recipes we’ll be able to make and the yummy dishes we’d be able to taste!
This spiru-camole recipe is my fiancé favorite…it’s a super easy recipe that can be savored with tortilla chips. We like to use it instead of butter or mayo on our sandwiches, it provides the same moisture but is so much healthier for you.
- 1 medium organic onion
- 1 medium organic tomato
- 2 organic avocados
- 1 lime, juice of
- 1 cup cilantro leaves (optional)
- garlic pepper
- 2 tsp Spirulina Bahamas spaghettis
Blend all the ingredients for 15 sec except the tomatoes and half of the onion.
Put the mixture into a bowl and add the onion and tomatoes that you’ve saved. And Voilà! It’s ready!
Avocados are really rich in fiber (about 54% of your recommended daily value for just one avocado). They are sometimes called the alphabet fruit because they are full of Vit. A, C, E, K, B6 and other vitamins like riboflavin, niacin, folate and pantothenic acid. Combine avocados with spirulina and you have an incredibly healthy, nourishing and green snack 🙂
