Today Lechat, sent us this simple and rapid recipe for a refreshing spirulina vanilla soy drink… If you try to avoid soy, you can replace it the soy milk by rice milk or almond milk or any type of milk you like. This is a perfect way to enjoy your daily spirulina!

Instant Drink for one person

This is a vegetarian recipe, gluten-free, sugar-free and no salt is needed 🙂

1. Ingredients

  • 4 cups of organic soy milk (if you don’t buy organic soy there is a very high probability that it will be GMO soy – stay away from non GMO soy!) If you try to avoid soy, you can replace it the soy milk by rice milk or almond milk or any type of milk you like. Make sure you grab the milk that has NO added sugar
  • 1 table spoon of flaxseed oil (rich in omega 3, with high anti-inflamatory properties)
  • the seeds of a vanilla bean from Madagascar
  • Stevia to taste
  • 1 TBSP of spirulina flakes

 

2. Directions

  • Mix everything together with a mixing spoon.
  • Enjoy the crunchiness of the spirulina flakes and the creaminess of the milk forming a pleasant contrast.
